Disney Part 3...

And the last Disney post...
I have mentioned it, but Morgan and Colin are super cute together!  Here they are watching "monkey's" before bed.

We headed to Animal Kingdom on a rainy day!  I was a little worried about Addison, but I had a cover for the stroller and I bought a fan so she stayed cool and dry!  Plus the rain didn't last all day.

We went to the Lion King show, which was awesome!  Addison seemed to enjoy it more than anyone!  Guess there was lots to keep her entertained!  Then we went on a safari ride!

We saw tons of animals!  They were close too!

 But, Colin's favorite part?  This:

He seriously crawled over me to see this truck.  "What's he doing?"  "Why is he backing up?"  "How did he get here?"

Then we saw Goofy and Pluto!

We had a great time in dinoland.  Colin had a blast in this slide kid area!
We gave a Bugs Life ride a try, but Colin hated it!  It got pitch black dark and it sounded like bees were buzzing all around, and Colin lost it.  Poor bud.  But we still got a cute picture of him with his 3D glasses =)

Our last full day, we spent the morning at Downtown Disney.  The Lego store was Colin's favorite part!  He got to build a race car and race it!

He did this over.  and over.  and over....
We all had lunch at the T-Rex restaurant!

After naps, we all headed to the pool for some relaxing!  Colin liked to hand on the side and "bike" with his legs.

Addison enjoyed sticking her feet in the pool.

We had such a great time!  It was nice to spend time with family!

We left on the 26th... Morgan's 2nd birthday!  We celebrated, and then everyone headed out!  Eric, Kailey and Morgan went to the airport.  Colin rode home with my parents.  I knew he would be fine on the trip, and they said he was awesome!  They even got him a new truck for being so good!

Addison and I were the last to leave.  We flew home together.

She is such a trooper!
We had such a great visit to Disney!

Disney Part 2...

We celebrated Colin's 3rd birthday while we were down in Orlando!  I was very hesitant to do that because I wanted to make sure he felt special on "his" day.  Plus I wanted to make sure that Garet would be able to spend his birthday with him.  Lucky for us, Garet was able to come the weekend, therefore enjoy Colin's birthday festivities!  AND my family was awesome and truly made him feel special!

It was raining the afternoon we planned on having cake for him.  So, instead of having the party at the pool, we packed into Mary and Joe's condo (my aunt and uncle) and it was perfect!

Here is the birthday boy walking into his party =)

After a little bit of warming up (he had just gotten up from his nap) it was time to sing!  He totally didn't get it at first.

Then he got it, and just started blowing!  You can tell by my face that we were still in the middle of singing when he blew out his candles =)

And then he got embarrassed and gave me a big hug.  Which I loved.

Our family!

When Colin got his piece of cake, he picked it up with his hands and stuffed it in his face.  So everyone started yelling, "use a fork!!"  So he stabbed it with a fork and eat it that way...

And then he asked for seconds.
Which Garet gave him.
Which poor Colin paid for later.
Which I had to deal with.
Anyway..................

His second piece of cake was eaten with his hands.  I thought it was funny to see Colin eating his cake versus Morgan eating her cake:

Oh sweet Morgan.  How dainty compared to my boy =)

One of Colin's gifts was this awesome hat!

Here he is opening gifts... and my family watching:

Then he played with all his toys.  He loved this baseball bat and ball... or should I say golf club bat?

We managed to get almost all the girl cousins (and daughters) in the family!

On his birthday I put streamers from his doorway so he would walk out of the bedroom into them.
This was NOT a hit.
"What is this mess?"  "These are in my way"  "I don't like them"
So, that was not a hit.  But the birthday donuts were!

I mentioned in my last post the place where my cousins stayed, Give Kids the World.  Well we went by there to meet some characters!
Here is my aunt and uncle and cousins:
An amazing family.  They have been through so much!  I love that they were able to have this vacation given to them!

Colin met the chipmunks while standing in line:

And then... we met MICKEY!

It was amazing how much time he spent with each family.  It was great!  And Colin loved him!

We were also able to meet Goofy!

Here is Colin getting an autograph:

After that, Colin cooled off in the water.  Don't look too close, we forgot a bathing suit, so he is in his undies!

We are so thankful for our sweet boy!  We are so proud and blessed by him!
Garet flew back and left us to have a few more days of fun!  I will post about that next!

Disney Part 1...

I have sooo many pictures, I have to break this trip down into 3 parts.  I promise I won't keep it too wordy =)

So, we went to Disney!  And had a blast!
I have family that lives in Texas... one of my cousins there, Catherine, has epilepsy and has had it since she was 3... this has had a HUGE affect on their family.  My aunt and uncle have 4 kids, Catherine is the youngest.  They were given (yes GIVEN) this amazing trip to Disney.  They got to stay at an awesome resort called Give Kids the World... this place is unbelievable!  This place gives kids with life threatening illnesses the opportunity for them and their families to enjoy Disney and all that it has to offer.  They get to go to parks, met the characters, the resort has rides, water fun, food... it is all paid for... the people there are all volunteers.... this place is so inspirational!

So.... since they got this trip, the rest of my family decided to all go to Florida so we could all hang out and see each other!  It isn't often that our entire family gets to see each other!  So, all my aunts, uncles, cousins, parents, everyone went!  Garet was only able to come for the weekend because September is the busiest month for him at work, but we sure made the most of it!

Here is Colin and Eric at the airport.  Right before we boarded:

 Us on the plane!

We went to Magic Kingdom!  Since it was almost Colin and Morgan's birthdays, they got birthday buttons!

The first ride was a hit!

It was so so so hot!  Poor Addison was melting in the stroller!  Lucky for Colin and Addison, Grandmama found a sprinkler!

Colin and Garet went on racecars!  When Colin saw them, he didn't stop talking about them until he got on them!  You can hardly see him!  But he LOVED it!

What a magical place!

On the way back to the condo, Colin fell asleep.  And to our surprise he stayed asleep as Garet carried him inside!

We stayed at Runaway Beach Club and loved it!  It was fun to have Colin and Morgan playing.  I love that they are so close in age!  They would chase each other, and here Colin is helping tickle her =)

We got a tip that we could walk around the Disney resorts for free... so we headed to the Animation Resort because...

 ... they had CARS!

There was music that Colin was dancing to as we walked around:

 Then we entered Radiator Springs!

It amazed me the attention to detail everywhere!  I am pretty sure Mater is Colin's favorite!

 Even the inside was decorated!

He was running around everywhere!

One of his favorite parts... the elevator!

When we got back to the condo, Colin took a much needed nap.. and I got to snuggle with this little lady...

And then the rain came...
I will do the next post about Colin's birthday!  He's THREE!!!
