He's three...

(I have started keeping these all together on a page at the top of this blog. It makes it easier for me to click back and see what Colin was up to. These are mainly so I don't forget any of these precious moments...)

These pictures are from when we got home from Orlando.  It was right after Colin got this birthday present.  It was (and still is!) a HUGE hit!  You can tell by his sweet face how excited he is about it.

How did this happen so fast?!  Colin is three.  He is so much fun and we are so in love with him!  Colin is very loving and sensitive.  He is really good with Addison... if anyone else is talking to her or touching her, he will come over and sit right next to her.  As if to make sure everyone knows it is his sister =)

Colin has a great personality!  He likes to make us laugh.  And it is hilarious how fast he catches on to jokes.  I will tease him about something and he will come right back at me with jokes =)

He is very routine.  He also knows that everything has a place (good boy), like when he cleans up his cars... they go in the same place every time.  In his room... if there is a shirt or something on his dresser, he will ask about it.  If there is a drawer open, or closet door, he will want it closed.

He had his 3 year old appointment and is 32 pounds and 38 inches tall (51% and 62%).  He does not eat veggies.  He eats fruit like it's going out of style!  He is a super picky eater!  I can almost guarantee that he will eat pb&j or cheese pizza.  Nuggets, macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese, burgers, hotdogs... he will eat these sometimes.  I always make him try everything on his plate... at least a bite.

Some things he has done recently:
- I sneezed and said, "Bless me!"  and Colin said, "You are blessed."
- Garet did something, and evidently didn't do it right so he said, "Daddy did it wrong."  And Colin said, "...again..."
- I was on a walk with Colin and Addison and Colin saw some goose poop.  He stopped and said, "that poop looks like a caterpillar."  Then he said, "Poop goes in the grass, silly doggy."
- I had an itch on my stomach so I lifted my shirt to look at it.  Colin asked, "Want me to itch it after I wipe my hands?"  I told him no.  So he then asked, "Want me to kiss it?"
The next morning he went out in his pjs and sunglasses (to "keep the bugs out of his eyes")

What a blessing Colin is!  I thank God every day for trusting us with this sweet boy!  I love seeing him grow and am just amazed at the things that he does.  I can't believe he is 3, and I also can't remember what in the world we did before he was here!  =)
